6 rotor tedder, Cat 2-3pt hook up, 480 max PTO, 25'3" working width, 7 tines per rotor, 2800lbs, 1 year warranty
Information
The McHale ProPel M6-770 tedder is a robust, high-efficiency mounted forage tedding machine designed for effective and uniform grass spreading to accelerate drying and improve hay quality. Featuring six large rotors with a working width of 7.7 m, this model uses 7 double-hooked tines per rotor to lift and distribute cut crop evenly and at height, helping to maximize sun and airflow exposure for faster wilt and drying. Its 1.58 m diameter rotors provide excellent ground contour following and stability on uneven terrain, while oscillating dampers and a central pivoting headstock ensure responsive steering and reliable performance behind the tractor. Built on a strong V-shaped chassis, the M6-770 is mounted via a three-point CAT II linkage, has a minimum power requirement of 45 kW (60 HP), and is driven through an SAE-6 spline PTO at around 480 rpm. Standard features include hydraulic lift and folding, dual-acting hydraulics with a 20 l/min minimum flow, and standard road lighting for safe transport. In transport the tedder folds to a compact height and overall footprint (˜2.9 m wide, 3.7 m high), and optional extras such as a spare rotor wheel and headland management system are available to further enhance usability and field efficiency.
